ahhhh, i love otafest! ^^ seriously, if you've never been to an anime convention, then you totally don't know what you're missing! ^^ i only mannaged to buy two posters and a manga cause of the whole being broke and not having a job bit, but the posters are really pritty and the manga was on sale for $5... i mean, when do you ever get a manga for $5? not often, i tell ya ^^ i cosplayed as kilala(kirara) from inuyasha, and some friends went as sango and kohaku... it was a total blast! ^^ we got glomped so much, and we could hardly take five steps without someone wanting our pictures ^^ we even got recognized by this little kid on the train ^^ best part tho, everyone's your friend ^^ even if you don't know them, they're your friend ^^ and, sometimes, they're friends with benefits ^^ saturday, i got a kiss from a random gothy-type girl, and today i ran into someone with a "will yuri for money" sign, so i gave her 50 cents and got a kiss from her ^^ and then she gave me a free one so i could get my picture taken too ^^ (the yuri girl was better than the gothy girl) ^^ we also did some LARPing durign the latter part of taday ^^ it was fun, totally turn-based battle, where the damage you did was based on how loud the audiance cheered when you did your attack ^^ that was some kind of crazyness... tho i did hurt my but when i did my death scene ^^` and sango got her boomerang confiscated (temporarily) when she lost controle of it during an attack and nearly took someone's head off ^^ it was all just so awsome ^^ and i'm sure i didn't get more than 10hs sleep the whole weekend! ^^
and i like DearS better than golden boy. just saying. ^^

ps: came home to find a nice new drafting table set up in my room ^^ squeee!!! don't you just love what can be found at garage sales? ^^ |
